During a recent play in Turkey, the script said that Numan Erturul Uzunsoy should get hurt and lie on the floor. The accident was fake, of course.
People watched this Dog while he put on a show on the street. He did something very cute.
Uzunsoy told The Dodo, “The person I played was hurt and in a lot of pain.” “He fell off a horse and was struggling to catch his breath.”
His fake pain wasn’t missed while Uzunsoy was lying on the ground. But a four-legged person in the crowd needed to be sure. The stray Dog came in from a wing and stopped the play to help the “injured” stranger.
Uzunsoy was surprised to find out.
“I felt warmth on my face. First, I thought my costar was approaching me,” Uzunsoy said. He was wrong.
Uzunsoy had to break character when he found out the truth. He got a smile on his face.
“I was very happy when I felt the dog’s kisses,” Uzunsoy said. “I was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it.”
That break in the action didn’t bother anyone on the team. Rather, the opposite happened when the puppy got in the way.
“My castmates loved the dog, and the audience was very happy,” Uzunsoy said. “Everyone cheered.”
A crew member finally led the stray Dog offstage, where he stayed for a while before walking away. The star hoped that the day they met was just the first of many times they would work together.
Uzunsoy wants to help the puppy grow up and find his future family to repay him for the kindness he showed him.
“I went to the same place the next day to look for him. People told me that’s where he often hangs out. I went again today,” Uzunsoy said. “I’ll try to find him until I do. I’ve always been fond of animals.”
