Every one of us on this earth will face death, yet we have such different approaches to death. We either live as if it will never happen – or we are weighed down by it.
The Bible says that death is our “final enemy” and that it’s a “sting.” It hurts, burns, causes pain. But the Bible also tells us that death does not have the last word.
Jesus revealed His power over death when He died on the cross and three days later actually came back to life. What a mystery; what victory and power!
Holy Spirit
When a person goes to Heaven you will find that there will not be any time element of past, present and future. You will experience an ongoing continuous existence of peace and joy without any sensing of past, present and future.
Those who reject Christ as Savior and go to Hell will experience an ongoing continuous existence of agony and pain without any sensing of past, present or future.”
Which type of death is blessed
Then the Bible says they will have rest from their labors. These are the people who worked for the Lord by the grace of God. They let the grace of God flow in them and through them so their works were effortless. (1 Corinthians 15:10) But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them — yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
A Prayer in the Midst of Death and Loss:
Our hearts are grieving with those who are hurting, for those who have lost loved ones, for those who have suffered such great tragedy at the hands of evil. We ask that you would be their Comforter, that you would cover them with your grace and mercy, surrounding them in peace during this dark time. Thank you God that you are surely with user thank you that you cares€¦thank you that your Presence is closed and that you weep with those who weep. We need you. We know and believe beyond any doubt, that your power and love will never fail. Amen.
