JESUS NEVER QUITS ON YOU

Is Jesus your savior? Who is Jesus? His miracles and teaching had people asking that 2,000 years ago. Some were saying a prophet, some a hoax, others unsure. Jesus asked His followers their opinion, and confirmed what Peter declared: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God!” Messiah meant the Chosen Savior. What do you think? We all know we need saving deep down, but is Jesus really able–and willing–to save you? And what does being saved really mean?

JESUS WANTS TO SAVE YOU

Let me tell you about Jesus. The coolest person ever. He was born from a virgin as God’s Son, sent to save us from our sins and give us a clear picture of God. But instead of being judgmental, He was loving. One time a woman was going to be killed for cheating on her husband. But Jesus stepped in and saved her, just out of compassion. He said, “God did not send His Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent Him to save them!” This passion led Him to die for everyone who would believe in Him, so that we could be forgiven of our sins. You see, as God’s perfect Son, He is the only one who could do that. But after He died, God raised Him back to life to show Jesus has complete power over all sin and death. And He is going to collect all His followers at the end of time and take them to Heaven. All He asks is that you believe and follow Him

TIPS TO KNOW JESUS BETTER…

If you want to get to know Jesus better, try this when you read the Bible: Put yourself in the stories in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Which characters are you most like? How would Jesus respond to you? He will surprise you with His mercy and goodness.

If you would like to open your door and invite Jesus into your life, start reading The Word. Open a Bible and read the gospels to learn about the good life Jesus desires to share with you. The Bible is where one can find how Jesus shares His love and comfort. His message proclaims truth – If we believe and have faith, we are set free from sin.

You can be a disciple of Jesus today! In Matthew 28, Jesus sent His followers to the entire world. The Holy Spirit will empower you to do what Jesus did: Love people and announce the truth of God.
