Sea sheep? do you believe These green sheep are one of the strangest animals currently living on Earth. At first glance they look like a farm animal, but they act like a plant. And these creatures live in the sea!
Found in the shallow ocean waters of Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines, these sea sheep are small creatures about 5 mm long.
These tiny sea slugs are actually marine animals, but they act like plants. They get more energy from the sun.
When these strange green sheep eat algae, they suck up the chloroplasts. And in a process called kleptoplasty, they are inserted into their own body.
“This process, which otherwise can only be performed by single-celled organisms, essentially makes them solar-powered slugs!” Bored Panda notes.
These wonderful creatures have the face of a cow or a sheep, but the back looks like a house.
So don’t forget to share about this strange creature among your friends!
