Park keepers found six elephants who got lost from their parents in the forest and fell into a mud pit and could not get out. They took quick steps to rescue and free these elephants without causing any trouble.
Park rangers in Thailand’s Thap Lan National Park found six young elephants stuck in mud pits, the news has been reported on Facebook.
When the cubs were found by the park rangers, there were signs that a herd of wild elephants had passed through the mud and the older herd was waiting for the cubs to return, but these six cubs could not get out of the mud alone.
As per the decision taken by the park rangers, he decided to get involved and help the elephants out of the mud. However, they couldn’t do anything there because they didn’t have the right equipment to do the job, which delayed the rescue process.
Later, one of these guards kept an eye on the elephants overnight, and they returned the next morning with the necessary equipment for this operation.
The park officials started digging a slope using the equipment they had brought. This made it very easy for the elephants to get out of the mud pit. All six elephants were later found safe and sound and reunited with their parents and the herd.
After thanking the park keepers who helped these elephants to get out of the pit safely, these six giants stepped back to the park.
