The fawn thinks the man who saves her life is his father!
Lithuanian outdoorsman Darius Sasnauskas, witnessed two fawns being born in his backyard near Yellowstone National Park in the United States.
Sadly, one of them was injured and she was abandoned by her family. Since she cannot live alone, Darius decides to bring her home. Because Darius cared for the cub, she thought Darius was her father.
Now that the health of this newborn deer has recovered, it’s time to release her. However, their relationship is so strong that she finds Darius again. Darius saved the fawn’s life, so she refused to leave him.
Darius fed her every four hours and his dog began to love her.
Darius stated that he doesn’t support keeping wild animals as pets, but he took her in because this was a special situation and she couldn’t survive on her own with so many predators around.
Darius tried to release her back into the wild, but she always returned to him to show her gratitude.
After some time her mother returned, and the fawn was reunited with her family and turned to life in the wild. A few months later, Darius saw the deer again, this time a young fawn that had grown up quickly and was making the most of life.
He was kind enough to rescue this fawn, fix its leg, feed it, and return the fawn to its mother.
Animals could teach humans a thing or two on human kindness and partnering for life…!
