What are you really good at? Painting? Counseling? Maybe you’ve never met a car problem you couldn’t repair, or you’re an amazing chef. Perhaps you just find opportunities to help people wherever you go.
Whatever your talent or skill is, guess what? God’s behind it! But He doesn’t bless us with talents or skills so we can get noticed or earn lots of cash.
Yes, that can be a result of it. But it’s so much bigger than that. God wants us to honor Him with those gifts! He wants us to be “good and faithful servants” with our talents.
How exactly does God want us to use our talents for Him? Two ways: blessing others and building His kingdom.

All throughout Scripture, people used talents to gain resources and wealth. Peter used his talent as a fisherman. Dorcas from Joppa was a seamstress. The woman in (Proverbs 31) used her skills to bless her family. Joseph was a carpenter. The principle is this: God put a talent in you, and your increase will always be tied to that talent. Make a choice to use your talent for the Lord and His Kingdom!
Give God thanks for all He has given you. Your talent can be your special personality, your ability to give kind words, musical ability, determination in life, giving, preaching, wisdom, compassion, teaching skills, charisma, communication skills, or anything you’re good at.
Be wise and put them into use to help others. We are all part of the body of Christ. Stop letting God’s gifts to you catch dust Amen.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”(Colossians 3:23-24)
“Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.”(Romans 12:11 )
